| About Moravian Falls Art...
After moving to the Moravian Falls area in 2003, I began to capture the falls on film. That winter, I was able to get a snow scene of the falls, which is on this website. Soon after that, I started using a digital camera to capture scenes. My wife, Lynn, felt that I should share these scenes with you. I have learned (took me a while) that, many times, when Lynn has a "feeling" that it is the Lord speaking. This time, I wasn't so sure, but I began the search for a webmaster. I really felt that I needed to work with someone local and I "found" Lance McLean (My Web Designer - www.MWD.us). Our first meeting in August of 2007 was about three hours long. We spent most of our time talking about the goodness of the Lord. After we discovered Lance, we started selecting prints for the giclees on canvas. Lynn and I believed that we should create these prints with excellence. From the giclees to the framing, everything was to be done with excellence.
On Sunday, September 1, 2007, after the earliest stage of this website was up and running, we had lunch with friends after church at MorningStar. I shared with them my lack of understanding concerning why the Lord would have us share prints of the falls at Moravian Falls. The wife of the couple shared the following with us:
"It has been proven that everything created has a frequency. Light. Color. The rocks in the Moravian Falls. The water in the falls. The trees. The dirt. They all have a frequency. When God SPOKE creation into being, His voice contained all the frequencies of all matter. It has also been proven that matter has memory - it remembers what has been spoken into it. When you take a picture of the Moravian Falls, you capture the memory and the frequencies of all that God spoke into this land and all that the Moravians spoke into this land. When one of your prints goes into a person's home, it carries the essence of this land into that home - the blessings, the open heaven, the promises. That is why God told you not to tamper with the prints. He wants them to be a "clear" capturing of His essence in this place."
